"Been coming here for years and has always been a must visit. We arrived and Jorge seats us literally in front of the entrance to the kitchen. The walkway into kitchen was 2 wide and right in middle of our table. Its 90 degrees out and we have to deal with heat from kitchen as well. Jorge placed 2 dinner orders for 2 people and they received their meal before the apps were delivered. This was probably the best restaurant we ate at while in Cabo. The food was delicious. I had the sea bass with caper sauce, my wife had a shrimp trio and the flavor of it all was just wonderful. The cost was very inexpensive for 4 people plus drinks and water. The staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant had a very local feel due to being smaller and in the downtown Cabo area.

This is the kind of restaurant I use to experience in Mexico back in the early 1980's. Concrete floors, basic tables and chairs and full of locals. Add to that great seafood. We started with Almejas Chocolatas or Chocolate Clams, a local Baja delicacy. They were 36 pesos $2) for a large 2 sides of the clams, chopped with lime as is the tradition. Then we had large prawns wrapped in bacon with a super hot and tasty habenero salsa. Huge portions, supper tasty and add 2 Pacifico beers to quench the thirst and you get a bill of $65 for 2 people.
