"Wow! I avoided Doxie Slush the entire week I've been in Hermann, thinking slushy drinks aren't my thing. What a mistake! I finally went because the reviews are great and the menu looks good.... wish I hadn't waited. I had the lobster waffle mac cheese (fantastic! and a flight of slushies (delicious! but what impressed me even more was the service... from being offered a menu while I stood in line, to being offered a glass of room temp water when i was overheard mentioning I have brain freeze (did the trick! to being asked more than once how my meal was and did I need anything, to noticing i was leaving with a to go box (and a to go slushy! and having them bag it for me with straw and bonus snack. I couldn't be more impressed. I don't typically do reviews, but it would be a shame for others to have the same thinking I initially had and not check it out. Best meal and by far the best dining experience I had in Hermann. Can't wait to try it again on my next trip out!"

"This restaurant has a real historical and Germanic feeling. Very relaxing afternoon enjoy glasses of wine and some of the best dishes in Herman. We enjoyed both bowls of very good French Onion Soup. My wife ordered the chef Salad and I had her German trio (scarving, sour roast and sausage). As I said, before very relaxing and pleasant afternoon."

"4th Street Pizza hosted our laid-back rehearsal dinner in their upstairs event space. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience working with them. All of our guests loved the house bread and the many pizza options. Trigg was great at communicating with us throughout the whole experience. He was very receptive to our ideas for the drink service and buffet setup. Brandon was very friendly and provided additional pizzas as needed throughout the evening. We would highly recommend the event space to those looking to host a large group. At the very least, everyone visiting Hermann should definitely stop in and get the pizza at 4th Street, it's super delicious!"

"One of the best places to grab a quick lunch in Hermann. Great deli style sandwiches, chips, shakes and malts. The location is perfect and the employees were very helpful. The Reuben was fantastic so much so that I came back the next day and ordered it again!"
