"The pho ga is the best soup ever!! The broth is rich and unctuous. It 's just so simple, but so freaking good!!! Ughh I want more right now. When I 'm feeling sick, Turtle Tower. When it 's chilly outside, Turtle Tower. When I want comfort, Turtle Tower. I want Turtle Tower everyday and thank god they 're a block away. The regular pho is good too, don 't get me wrong. I 'm a pho addict, but the chicken pho wins every time for me. The pho reminds me of Vietnamese with a French influence. Simple but so flavorful. My only negative........ugh I hate that there 's a negative. It 's the nem cua (cha gio). They just don 't travel well with the noodle and veggies together. They lose that crispiness...

The beef and leek pho is simply perfection in a bowl. The family who runs this restaurant is really wonderful and I highly recommend Turtle Tower for great service and lovely food.

Updated review. Have ordered here several more times recently and they keep skimping out on the chicken, lemon and jalapeño (as requested). I 'm more than willing to pay extra, but even when they charge me, there 's nothing extra . They have lost my business. There 's plenty of another fish in the sea in San Francisco.

Purely by the taste of this Pho Gai it’s so good. Wonderful chicken broth and you know they make it from their own chicken. The chicken is silky even in broth. Their noodles are amazing. The broth is always the star of any pho. Much like the ones I’ve had in Hanoi. I haven’t had their Pho fav biet or beef as I know their really famous for their chicken pho. Each time I come to SF this is and will be my first stop.
