"After we were not allowed to enter MeckPom this year in May due to corona, it was finally ready. At the later noon we arrived in Ludwigslust and decided to take a break. We were not very hungry, because on the way there were already fillets with self-baked bread. The Alte Wache was the first possibility to return, located directly at the Ludwigslust Castle. On the way to the castle and to the guard (close to the left behind the trees in 1853 as a guard and arrest place, it was at least architecturally a beautiful work place and also an arrest cell as a locality can probably not withstand today's architecture (but I have no experiences here). Our drinks were served well cooled and later our dishes too. With my salad I was fully satisfied. Fresh leaf salads, cucumbers, tomatoes. The nuts were very good, perfect if they were roasted as described. Perfect was dressing with granular (dijon? mustard and mild, fruity acid. My husband was also happy with his beautifully dressed little food. Of course it was an appetizer, but in relation to the smoked salmon portion he would have been happy to have a little more of the homemade roast. Räucherlachs and potato roast outside was this beautifully crispy baked, but inside quite fat. There was no short parking on kitchen paper. Smoked salmon and salad dress perfectly. This was a successful stop with fleeting service and well-organized kitchen. Our little break we could relax in the beautiful garden. Payment by EC and friendly adoption. Continued to the Baltic Sea on the last part of the motorway. It always rolls here. After 770 km of completely stowed arrival we arrived well at the resort."

"we have traveled to ludwigslust with friends and decided to eat in the footsteps of our hotel. we have booked a table in the old watch because he looked nice, had a look at the closed and the menu looked promising. we travel a lot in Germany and... it is not because of the German kitchen. but we were pleasantly surprised. the meat was tender, the salad crispy and fresh, without picking the dinge in it and the sweet had still bite. we had the lammhaxe and the calf. the wine list was good. the weather was nice and we could sit outside in their cozy beer garden. but the inner is also great. we had a little lunch one of the other days and that was nice too."

"Wir haben das Hotel spontan auf der Durchreise gebucht. Unser Doppelzimmer war groß und geräumig. Das Zimmer war hell und tadellos sauber und gepflegt. Der Fußboden neues Laminaten und Fenster zum öffnen. Da im Hotel nicht geraucht werden darf, war im gesamtem Hotelbeteich eine angenehme Atmosphäre.Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und von sehr guter Qualität. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Tischdekoration sowie das stilvolle Porzellangeschirr. Die Bedienung war überaus freundlich. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen, denn es gibt alles was einem Gast zufrieden stellt."
