"Just dropped by for drinks around 9:40 with another couple only to be basically followed up by by THREE bartenders to confirm payment to be chased at the exit for payment then asked to come back inside to confirm payment only to be told it was their bad and oh sorry Fully unacceptable I 'm unclear what type of establishment feels it is appropriate to target a group that already paid their bill in cash only to back track and apologize with literally zero acknowledgement or remedy. Always love the Verona inn! This has been a staple for me since college. The food and drinks are wonderful. Max was the best server and provided us with Greta service. Love the VI!

The Verona Inn is a great place to grab a drink but their food was somewhat disappointing. Everything we ordered just tasted okay. We got appetizers, spinach artichoke dip, potato skins, and giant pretzel. Everything was just okay, however, we did get this for a good price. The most disappointing part of the meal was the skillet cookie where they just threw in a cookie and it was hard in the middle. The service was decent and ambiance is good. I would go back to try other things on the menu.
