"In the middle of the week we visited the “Alte Forsthaus” in Mühlenbeck. The boss leads the house in 4. Generation for over 20 years. It was originally built in 1763 as a “pension”. The court of the Rector Friedrich II worked, rested and recovered. During our visit we were surprised by the abundance of hunting trophies that decorate the walls of the rooms. There were fox, hare and forest owl, Uhu, Marder and Reiher, Iltis, Kautz and ducks, wild boars, convulsion of Rehwild, Damwild and Rotwild. The heads of wild boars, bears and muffle deer look from their trophies to the guest houses. The fur of the wild tickets and roofs is also hit here on the wall after they were pulled over their ears. Many pictures and a forest horn decorate the still free places. After the map there are other cabbage shops, salmon and ducks, wild boar roasts, meat skewers and carvings, with lumps, potatoes or pommes or dumplings, champions, red cabbage or asparagus to eat, appetizers and desserts. We chose asparagus with Schnitzel and Sauce Hollandaise on butter potatoes for Mrs FalkdS and there were wild boar roasts with Bohemia dumplings on champions in cream sauce and red cabbage. The food was pure home cooking, there is the proverb that I did not read here: "Futtering as with mothers" In the end, I paid almost 40 euros for our excellent food. We left the “Alte Forsthaus” thanks to kitchen and service as well as the promise to return. This means summa sumarum 5 stars and the favorite heart are shown here."

"Feldheim, an almost forgotten district of Mühlenbeck, located on the A 10 motorway, has a small and almost square and practical knight sports restaurant: The estimated Café Feldheim. Is it always popular with rain? sunny terrace and the hearty, solid old-fashioned food offer with exclusively German program. As indicated, the building is a functional cube building from the 80s, very typical GDR. After the turn very little happened here. Since everything worked perfectly, the GDR atmosphere was well preserved. People like it and without much nostalgia can be experienced here as it was earlier. Even the cutlery and the toilet flushing were original Alu Plaste until a few years ago. Now everything is top and at the latest. But that is, the saliva and the drinks are fairly calculated and hand-made quality. The café actually a very small restaurant is therefore really popular among people who avoid surprises like the devil the Christmas water. I recommend: Go and enjoy, besides the Summter Storch in Summt and the sunken bell in Wandlitz, an OHV shop where time is sunk without disturbing tone."

"You sit here beautifully among the great chestnuts with a wide view of the sunset in the west. There are 2 or 3 old wooden benches I prefer, because at these thin plastic chairs of modern time in beautiful green or white I do not find the greatest favor. There are yellow plastic blankets and colorful seat cushions. On the tables there are small gasoline lamps that are illuminated before sunset. That was very imposing me. For a hiking or cycling holiday or at the end of the day you can probably come here and cook. The children's playground in the beer garden is also very beautiful. There are also foreign rooms here that I have not seen. There was a very tasty blood sausage with fried bacon cubes, sour cabbage and potatoes. The part was not big, but it was probably wounded. My friend ordered the oven or film potatoes with quark or yogurt gurke and salad. The large potato in aluminium foil sponge (Foil Set after the likely warming in the microwave) tasted very well. The quark was a bit. The salad from gurke, paprika and iceberg salad in a light yogurt dressing came quite sweet. There is a very extensive, very wide menu with many dishes that look like industrial prefabrication. The spaghetti Bolognese with grater cheese from the foil bag, which got the right look with dye and the waiter does not know whether it is even synthetic cheese. You should focus more on culinary art, crafts and quality than celebrating the amount of dishes on the menu. Some, perhaps weekly changing dishes, prepared in your own kitchen with style and taste and pleasure, cooked and dressed, increase the level considerably and increases the influx in this beautiful summer garden and the bright restaurant. But I would like to recommend the chestnut farm if you are looking for a pleasant rest, hungry or thirsty since. If you come here with the S-Bahn, drive from here on the (almost) closed track to the dam and the transfer of the S- and Fernbahn. The S-Bahn station is located at the right-hand station. Peter"
