"We were looking for a good breakfast spot in Pacific City and this place had pretty good reviews. All in all, it was definitely tasty but kind of a weird atmosphere. It is setup almost like someones dining room. It 's a very homey atmosphere and the hot food (as well as the wide variety baked goods were all delicious). We split a raspberry Danish to start and then I got Spinach, Bacon, and Cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes and a biscuit. My girlfriend got scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon. Everything was really good. The omelet was perfectly fluffy and the biscuit came with great whipped butter. I would definitely recommend getting that as your bread . A very authentic American eatery The best burger I had in years. Very nice service. They purposefully keep it feel ?real America? ?Ike Oregon coast used to be?. I also like their logo: ?A little drinking village with a fishing problem?

We decided to forego a place down the road that we like to try this place. Photos of the food looked really good, and a great overall rating. The corned beef hash was very bland and dry. It was made with canned corned beef, which is fine, but not flavorful at all. I also ordered sourdough toast?the toast was also very bland. Not salty flavor or ?sour? flavor. The gravy was very thick, canned gravy. The only thing I enjoyed was the service and the coffee. We were also surprised when we went to pay the bill that they don?t take cards??there?s only a small sign on the register. I don?t feel that?s right to do, but I guess it prevents people from leaving due to not taking cards. Likely won?t be...

The food here was great. We arrived at 10:20 on a Wednesday morning to find the place packed and a line of people waiting for a table. As I waited to out my name down for a table, I overheard the chatter of other customers with the friendly staff. Lots of locals eating there, which was why we decided to wait an hour to get a table for our party of 6. The place is tiny and not much to look at. We were finally seated outside which was perfect for us. We had: chicken strips, a cheeseburger, clam chowder, pancakes with strawberries, a Denver omelette, and biscuits and gravy.
