"My husband 's dinner of yellowfin tuna, cole slaw and chips was excellent. I had the special pasta with shrimp and scallops. Basically 4 scallops, 5 shrimp penne and overly spicy sauce. Although seafood was perfectly cooked, the sauce was overbearing. If I was told spicy I didn 't hear as it is so loud there that conversation is impossible. Also no bread, no sides for $28? Very disappointing. I ordered dessert to temper the spiciness in my throat; the red velvet cake was tasty but very dry. I 've had better from the grocery store. As to service, our first waitress told us the specials then never came back. A second waitress noticed we were waiting and took care of us. She was great but reduced rating for service because of being forgotten. I don 't usually give average or poor ratings but was so looking forward to a great dinner out and yellowfin disappointed me."

"Here for birthday dinner. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. We had the crab for a starter and there was a lot to share for 4 of us. It had a good taste. I'll give the crab a thumb up. My husband had served the fillet with roasted red potatoes and sugar snap peas. He said it was very good. Three of us have the seafood plate. There were 3 very small scallops and what I would call half a crab cake. The scallops were cooked well. The crab cake had a taste that is not typical of crab cakes in the area. I couldn't place it, but it took away from the taste. There were also some bruised shrimps on the plate and they were just okay. There was a huge piece of white fish over a large amount of jasmine rice. Unfortunately, the fish and rice were so salty that none of us were able to finish it. The salt taste was overlaid. Honestly, if you are a seafood food and how good seafood, this is not the place for you. There are many other farms serving fresh and better prepared seafood in the area. The seafood plate was $42. Like my father said, I never have to eat there again? Three stars because the waitress was very nice."

"TL/DR: Best dining experience we've ever had at the beach. Long version: A couple quick thoughts. Reservations are accepted which is a huge plus for us. Also, if you're looking for a quick meal, this isn't your place. The dining experience moves at a great pace but for those looking to sit, order, eat, and leave quickly, this isn't for you. Last, this is cash only with an ATM on site. Note that the ATM only allows for $200 maximum withdraw so plan accordingly. The Grove Market feels off the beaten path (we live in OCMD) and is located in a rustic, woodsy location. Very oasis-like locale. The exterior is quaint with some outdoor seating while the indoor dining space is situated in what seems like an old seafood/deli counter. Decor is fun with americana signage all around the room. Our server, Brett, was nothing short of spectacular. Our table was a bit wobbly, and frankly I either didn't notice or care, but Brett insisted on making it right. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table and eventually Brett shared the appetizer menu verbally. They offered 2 salad options, some soups, chilled starters, and some hot options as well. We ordered the coconut crab and mushroom soup and the 13 oysters covered with a delicious tomato based sauce. Both were spectacular and made us even more excited for dinner. The dinner menu was also shared verbally with several options including duck, lamb, beef, and seafood (scallops, halibut, grouper). My wife opted for the grouper and I decided on the halibut, which had a mild thai curry sauce and topped with some crab. Both fish were cooked PERFECTLY. The sides (mashed potatoes, cucumber salad, and a slice of watermelon) were delicious too, but the star of the dish was obvious. Dessert was also offered. Several sounded amazing but we opted for the key lime pie since it's my favorite. Again, another spectacular dish! We'll be back for more!"

"This is a hidden treasure here on the beach. 13 of us went there after the house tour. Our waitress, Alyssa not sure to spell), treated us without problems and a cheerful attitude. Everyone loved their meal. The menu is unique as a BLT salad and creative tacos. I love the YellowFin."

"I recently ate at the grove, probably my sixth or seventh time eating there in the last several years. I must say I was a little disappointed because the prices have seem to have gone through the roof. I did expect it to be a bit pricey, as it has always been, but the quality was always there this time I paid $42 for six scallops which were pretty good but not great. My partner who is a vegetarian was only provided with a pasta Primavera dish for $25 and she was quite disappointed after I had really played up, how great the grove market is she said she could get pasta Primavera anywhere and for about half the price. Would be nice if they had a vegetarian gourmet option instead of a salad and pasta. I was also a little surprised that the house salad was 12 bucks and my appetizer was 18. However, the thing I was most disappointed about was the pie that they've always serve. They're so delicious but they are cutting it into such slivers now and charging $11 per slice and it certainly isn't worth that. So, I think I've been to the grove for the last time due to the excessive cost ."
