"My husband wanted Wood Ranch for his birthday meal and we decided to visit the Moorpark location close to home. We have been to the Ventura and Camarillo locations, which always provided consistently delicious food and service. The Moorpark restaurant does have a small parking lot and we got lucky finding a spot. When we arrived on a Friday night at 6pm, we were told it's a 5-15 minute wait for a table. We decided to grab a beer at the bar while we waited for our table which is no problem. We each got a pint of beer and relaxed in the air conditioned bar area where it felt the least crowded and there were 3 tvs plays sports.When our table was ready, we were seated a few feet away in a booth...

Love this place when in the mood for bbq. Had some champagne with my meal this latest time and was a great mix believe it or not!

Love this place! Serendipitously shares the name of our development so we eat here all the time. The food is always amazing but we had a great experience with the staff today, so I decided to leave a review. I believe her name was Alana we had a very small issue with our order and she went above and beyond to rectify it for us, and was extremely friendly and personable throughout. Delicious BBQ will keep us coming back, but the super hospitable atmosphere definitely goes a long way.
