"My wife and I had our first data night here since our first child, and we actually had catering of them what was phenomenal, so we decided to examine the source. Location: Downtown Amesbury, for those who were not this restorer, has its own parking. You don't have to park on the street. Go to: inviting hostess was very nice and tries to see if any tables were open before a waiting period. We were told 45-55m. I think we waited 20m. The waitress was very friendly and polite. We shared a few stories between us all night. Very accurate and descriptive with food options and recommendations. Bread"

"Absolutely delicious. Beautiful craftsmen and farm to serve ingredients to table with a smile and efficiency rarely seen more. Also gluten-free options were available. We could talk without noise and the ambience was warm. Clean bathroom and an open kitchen allow customers to observe this amazing boss in action. Well done."

"I visited Ale House recently once to have to have dinner with a friend and then to have dinner with my brother . I am a huge fan of this restaurant group. When I lived here previously) I patronized the Barking Dog at least once a week. I had also occasionally visited the Ale House and found it good. The two recent visits to Ale House we're disappointing. To start service was good, the staff where attentive, and made us feel welcome. The food was not as expected. The 1st meal, a Taco Salad, was very disappointing. It was a big bowl of romaine, a thin slab of chicken, a few tomatoes with a small amount of chili ranch dressing. Ultimately, once we tried to mix in our chicken there was not enough dressing. We both ate the chicken, the sparse amount of tomatoes and onion and left the nearly full taco bowl filled with romaine lettuce. I would not order this again. Of note, the salad was as described on the menu. I missed the fact there is a limited amount of ingredients. The salad was almost all romaine with very few other ingredients. Should the Ale House either add more ingredients to the salad or take it off the menu? Yes! My 2nd visit was 2 weeks later with my brother a big fan of Barking Dog too) who had never visited Ale hHouse. We ordered Fried Pickles which were good and arrived to our quickly. For our entrees we both had the Pork Dilla, which we both found disappointing. it was super smokey to the point we couldn't taste the pork. Again, the entree had the ingredients as listed. We both felt that the could have been additional ingredients like cilantro, scallions, sour cream, salsa and guacamole. It was super smokey, tasteless and not good. We both left at least 1/2 of the entrees. Thank god for the pickles. After considering this review, I believe the reason we found the meals less than acceptable is the limited ingredients and the Dilla was over spiced. In the end, I am not sure we will return, meals are not worth what we had to pay for them. This is sad as the other restaurants in this group are excellent. As a note my brother and I went to the Barking Dog the following night and it was excellent."

"delicious food, the reception of waiter and great mood! I loved my burger, and the Parmesan-Fries were incredibly and generously coated in the cheese. the drinks and food menus have a small but funny selection of options that should fit every taste and put me on my list of places to try more options! dessert looked delicious, but I was so full of my meal that I have to add this to my list of things to try again in the future. parking was easily accessible behind the building. Just note that the entrance of the elm street is the one that is used so that they have to walk around the building to find it."

"5 star food and 5 star service is what this fantastic local restaurant is! Yes, it's out of the beaten way, but what an impressive shop window of the mouthwater plates and great time cocktails that go to this place! Whether you are nearby or just drive through Interstate 495, you need to check this place! No joke, if they say, please reserve as this place is always packed! For our first experience we have made a leap of faith and dared without reservations! WE GOT LUCKY and so glad we did as we waited a short time, on some craft cocktails in a small bar area in the back of the restaurant facing the kitchen. We were super satisfied with the range of apps available and the options of the specials of the night! We went GAGA with the Blue Cheese Srumptious App and the Lobster Ragoons! The dessert is made in the house so make sure you place for the DELICIOUS carrot cake with a side made of house ice cream! We can't wait back!!"
