At the courtyard between the Old National Gallery, the New Museum and the Pergamon Museum we immediately noticed the long snake that began somewhere in the vaults of the Pergamon Museum. The waiting time was probably in an area that was probably not too high. What now? As the owner of an annual ticket for state museums, I did not have to stand at the checkout to buy a ticket (the snake was really very long). What disturbed me, however, was VIER's handy advice from the staff that I should leave Jack and Bag on the closet. I had the jacket because I was a little cool about the weather and my bag was smaller than A4. Maybe there should be hints on the website. The museum itself is very interesting, very clear and informative. Impressive also repeatedly the ceiling paintings, floors and columns. It is a very interesting building in its combination of old and new architecture. But the design of the exhibition is as old-fashioned and boring as I did not experience it in a newer museum, except for some exhibits (Nizza, Golden Hut and 1 room on the 3rd floor). 98% of the exhibits are in their shop windows without further explanations. There is no arrangement in the respective historical everyday life (e.g. an explanation of the use of certain objects). The development of visual processing using modern video technology does not exist. The loaned audio guide did not work at half of the designated stations. Conclusion: certainly from a professional perspective an impressive collection, but...

To stand in the ice cold during our stay in Berlin is certainly not a pleasure, because one does not take into account the external influences, especially when one is so close to the most beautiful woman in ancient Egypt the Pharaoh Nofretete. Luckily it went forward quickly. What I had liked here was that the inlets were careful not to exceed a certain total number of guests. The indication that there was a time window to enter, I have completely displaced.
