Finally the Nöthels have the Michelin Star they deserve. And know what? Nothing has change since they received it earlier this year, only the good is always getting better. The wine cellar is huge (although they still don’t have a wine menu) and the service...is outstandingly good. Very private atmosphere as well.

This an unusual restaurant which is well worth a visit. There was no wine but the the waiter made recommendations and offered tastings before we made our choice. The choice was made with some trepidation because it was made solely on taste with no reference...to price but when we received the bill the price was less then €30 per bottle. Service and food were faultless. Desserts were unusual more like salads but delicious. I have never eaten anywhere quite like Am Kamin but I would be very happy to repeat the experience.

I ate twice at this restaurant at the recommendation of the owner of the little hotel and restaurant where I was staying. As everyone now knows, it recently got a Michelin star. Do NOT go with that in mind. It does not, in my view,...reach that level. However it is extremely reasonably priced and the staff, in particularly the woman who owns the restaurant, make me feel a sort of loyalty to the place.
