"Very pleased with our visit to Cape Fear in Porters Neck this wveninh. We arrived at 8 PM on a Friday night were seated immediately. The sweet potato martini was strong unique. Entrées were the seared scallops on pork belly with lobster risotto it was fantastic. Also don't sleep on the shrimp grits or the crab legs. Skip the calamari, it wad rubbery we didn't enjoy it. I wish that I would have caught the name of the gentleman that served us, he was top notch. Will return in the very near future."

"My wife and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the Firecracker Chicken Sandwich with Skinny Fries, delicious. My wife ordered the Fried Pickle Burger with Sweet Potato Fires, zero complaints. I consider that a lunch win! Overall the food was wonderful and the service was great. Our server was phenomenal welcoming, attentive, friendly. Vegetarian options: All beef burgers can be ordered as black bean burgers. Service: Dine in"

"Not sure what has happened over the last couple months but the fried chicken is no longer appetizing! The breading has changed and/or either it’s being double fried because now the breast is tough and dry whereas the previous months it was juice and the skin was so crisp and fresh. The potato salad and baked beans are off the charts amazing but the fried chicken and Brunswick stew have become awful. Service: Take out"

"Big food from the wood stove. Nice place, nice staff. Our server Sheena was very knowledgeable and efficient. My wife had the Calamari and I had baked oysters. They're $1.50 apiece on Thursday. Great tasting appetizers. My wife ordered a burger with sweet potatoes. I ordered the lasagna. I have bread and homemade pesto to accompany my lasagna. Good choice! I could see how the rest of the staff prepares for the quantity after work. I bet it's rocking! We will eat here again and recommend giving them a shot. I doubt they'll disappoint you!"

"DECEIVING. We walked in the restaurant and the ambiance was not at all what you expect from a Mexican restaurant! We in fact, didn't even know it was Mexican until we were handed our menus. They have LIVE EAT SURF everywhere, so we were thinking seafood, not chips and salsa. The staff is not familiar with the menu. Being Hispanic myself, I was disappointed with the taste of the food. Not flavorful, or authentic at all. The most Mexican thing in that restaurant was my husband. The only thing I did appreciate was the short wait time."
