"I was so excited to bring my boyfriend, who had never been, to Linwoods for his birthday. He lives in Philadelphia, but I knew that the trip to Baltimore would be worth it, if it meant that we could dine at this fabulous restaurant. The experience did not disappoint. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and escorted to the perfect cozy table by the friendly hostess staff. Our server Madison promptly introduced herself. She was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Her timing was so perfect we joked that it was as if she could read our minds. Her service alone would have made the experience a but the beverage and cuisine were out of this world. Cocktails were crafted to perfection by the very talented Sommelier, Jason. Our appetizers were delicious and filling, and thanks to recommendation by our server, paired perfectly with our entrees. We both enjoyed the sea bass, which by itself would have been well worth the hour journey. We finished off with a gracious birthday dessert, which was perfectly plated and tasted divine. Thank you Linwoods for making this special occasion beyond what we could have expected. I'm certain we will be back soon"

"Better than ever Mexican restaurant. On a beautiful June night we ate on the outdoor terrace. We've come here occasionally, but we haven't been here for a while because of COVID. All 4 of the use enjoyed our drinks appetizers and entrees. We had delicious and refreshing margaritas and Sangria with our grilled shrimp appetizer (gambas al ajillo. The sauce was particularly delicious. I would recommend all entrees for which we had to taste. The house salad was enormous and filled with meat like salmon. The Lamb / Cordero Jalisco and ribs / Castillas de puerco were tender and juicy. Finally, the combination board allows you to build your own Mexican favorites."

"I used to come to this place more often when I lived in the area, but haven’t been in awhile. Today was amazing! We were greeted and seated almost immediately, service was super warm, attentive and welcoming. Actually, in the end we found out it was GM Greg, he was so nice and friendly! Food was absolutely amazing we ordered “Nezhnost’” salad, Shurpa soup, a skewer each of lamb and ground beef kabobs, side of potatoes and mushrooms and some tandoori bread. All was perfectly made, fresh and delicious. My husband loved salad and kabobs the most, while I appreciated all of the above. If you are not sure what to order, you can’t go wrong with any of the kabobs, manti dumplings (I suggest steamed with meat, but they have vegetarian option too) as well as soups (I’ve tried and loved all of them, but I really like the broth with little dumplings in it perfect for the cold weather). Their fruit juice they serve is homemade and absolutely delicious!"

"Excellent evening for me and my hubby. He did the roasted chicken; I had the Tuna, and we had the apple tart. Everything was great. Our waitress was very attentive and bubbly. We went at 8pm and was pleased to be seated in the main dining area, which we always prefer (We went through a period of being seated in an overflow area not sure if overflow is what it’s called). We will continue to patronize Linwoods. They’ve always delivered food and service exceptionally well."

"*Update, in reply to the restaurant's response, they bring up a fair point, I added a star. I wish there was an option for a half of a star as I would add 1/2 more as well... However, I don't feel comfortable making my review a 4 star review. As previously mentioned in my review, I want to give the benefit of the doubt and would strongly consider adding a 4th star depending on my next experience.I ordered sushi from here for the first time and while the food was really good, their pricing went up ever since it became kosher, which usually happens unfortunately. The food was quick to get, however the service wasn't friendly at all. Like very unfriendly. That's a big turnoff for me when I find new places to try. I'm planning on ordering from them again as it could've just been a bad day and I try to give the benefit of the doubt. That being said, at the end of the day and as someone who has worked in the service industry for around 10 years, friendly customer service is as important to me as the food is."
