"There is no Sushi here, despite various advertisements and mentions online of it. Seems like maybe they used to have it but not now. We tried two lunch platters. The vegetables in the chicken and snow peas were crisp and tasted very fresh. The egg rolls were also delicious and tasted like they had been made in house. This restaurant is in a nice building with huge windows. Service was friendly and efficient.

I recieved a gift card and they refused to honor it. They said that it is from the previous owner. So I did a quick google search and google says thats illegal. So I'm deciding if I want to complain to the BBB or small claims court just to make a point. Its not alot of money but I definitley won't be back as I don't want to support crooks.

I've eaten at Asian Star since is was a restaurant in the Canyon Racquet Club many years ago. The food has always been good. We went in tonight and the food tasted like they'd bought it frozen and heated it up. It was only half full when we were there and the parking lot had at least 10 stalls available. A year ago, you had to park down the street at a Church and walk there but something has happened to the food. I won't go back. Based on the lack of business on a Saturday night at 7pm, apparently others have had a similar experience. Sad. This used to be a really good restaurant.
