"Hubby and I came here for the 1st time tonight! We were shocked that we never came here before bc its so close to home. Our waiter was SO GREAT! He was knowledgeable about the history of 1860, which meant a lot to me since I'm Italian from NYC with grandparents that came from Sicily to live in the U.S. They paid wonderful attention to us and explained every dish in detail. They answered all our questions about the food, and was very professional but also personable. Hubby I have lived in CSTAT for 7 years and we haven't had such great service and AMAZING FOOD since moving here from NYC, as we did here tonight. We will absolutely be back for all future date nights. Linguini with clams (shells included was out of this world... and the Filet mignon was MELT IN YOUR MOUTH fantastic. We also had the fried Calamari.. Best we've had in 7 years. Fresh crunchy.. the red sauce was AMAZING. I can go on and on. Thank you for a lovely night."

"it was my first time that I had this kind of experience – the casa do brasilien experience. we came at the weekend for the full experience. everything from salatable to meat to desserts was great. the service was also fantastic. if they have never been in casa do brazil, I recommend to them try it at least once! although the price is somewhat steep, I believe it is worth trying. the meat and the supplements were really good. I personally didn't know what I was eating. I always said when I was offered some meat, and I think that's the typical answer. jordan, on the other side, knows what he got. he is the one who realized that they bring out the same meat that is at the lower end – meat like sirloins – instead of mignon, ribeye or new york. higher quality meats would only be 10-15 minutes or so surface. So as a counsel of us to them, they keep the watch that is offered so that they do not eat everything in themselves. taste all meats from the menu! Finally we ordered their homemade Brazilian flan for which we should die. I highly recommend it because it was really good. Moreover, if they are old and as wee, they try their vino dei fratelli moscato d’asti. our friend jose loved it! Overall, I would come back with some friends for a party or something – because I am not rich."

"my food was WONDERFUL! But let me tell you guys that racism still exists! My waiter name was Brandon.. and he kept coming up to my table asking if we were done .. MIND y’all we JUST got our plates.. I meant the food was STEAMING HOT!!!! every 5 minutes he kept coming back asking if we need “to go” boxes like we couldn’t sit down and enjoy our food like any one else around us were. The he came around us sweeping the floors around our table .. why couldn’t you wait till we got up? They weren’t busy at all but I will never go back and if I do I will make sure he’s not my waiter."
