"Arrived and ordered, but we were then told that they were from what we ordered. Don't worry. We ordered chickens and waffles. It can go fresh, but it took a very long time. I asked the waiter to check the order, and he didn't. He just gave us a speech. They also offered additional flatbread so from appetizer, but it never came. I wasn't too worried because I didn't ask, but why offer if you don't want to deliver? This place let me down because the Katy site always had a great service."

"To be completely honest, our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. We had made a reservation for a party of 17 in the Simi Private Room on Easter Sunday, 03/31. The service was incredibly poor - when I asked our server to assist my elderly parents with the salad bar, he refused and instead requested that I get the salads for them myself. After waiting for someone to bring over the meat options, we were only offered chicken legs and sausage, which was not what we had asked for. Despite requesting beef ribs and ribeye steak, these dishes never arrived. When I asked for scallops, we were presented with only 4 on a plate for our entire group. The pork ribs finally came out 10 minutes later, but there were only 3 for a table of 17. After enduring this subpar service for a few hours, we had to seek out the manager for assistance. Ultimately, we left feeling dissatisfied, paid our bill (which included a 20% gratuity), and went home to celebrate my father's birthday with a Chantilly Cake and Ice Cream. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Avenida Brazil."

"Awesome tasting food! Well plated. I should've taken pictures, but i was too busy eating. I had the crab cakes and linguini pescatore. The crab cakes were good, but the linguini was very good. The shrimp, squid, mussels, and linguini was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Both, the appetizer and entree were presented well.I don't understand all the comments about the wine. It's not like they had an extraordinary list not were the prices reasonable. They have a good selection. I enjoyed the house chianti with the meal.But the food was well worth a return trip to try their other dishes."

"Went there for the first time for my anniversary with my wife. We’ve been to many other Brazilian steak houses and wanted to try this one out and oh boy. I’m not going to talk about the extremely poor looking and dry salad bar since we got there 1hour before closing time. The waitress was ok but my wife kept feeling stared down by her which I’m guessing she just wantedto provide a good service…? Then when the meat came, it was all over seasoned, making it all taste almost the same, some meatswere chewy and some were undercooked even though I wanted medium rare. The “mashed potatoes” is a complete joke since it’sjust pieces of potatoes with a sauce that simply tasted like a loaded potato which was a HUGE let down. The decor seemsoutdated, lights are way too dimmed and it doesn’t seem like they clean through the day since there were fingerprints all overthe “fire place” which is an indication of lack of deep cleaning and just superficial. Asked for dessert, which wascomplementary so, thank you. But the plate it was served on made my wife and I laugh so much. Is a tacky plastic plate that evenlooking at it today, makes us laugh. The cake it self was actually good but the way it was presented was not up to partconsidering the prices."

"Paid $16 for watered down Margarita.....was supposed to be strongest in the resturaunt....Not so much. Food just ok. UPDATE:!!!!! Went into Gringos today 7/11/24 and was completely satisfied! My $16 was well worth it! My waiter Michael was kind and patient and very attentive. So much so I had to mention it to manager Mariah! She was very nice, friendly, professional and appreciative of my compliments. Food was pretty good tonight...no complaints."
