"This must be the best fusion food I've ever had! The quality and quantity of dishes are worth the price! I had the Bun Bo Xao special Calamari, and I honestly can't talk a lot about it. Not to mention the staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating for allergens. This place is a must try when you are in the area!"

"We had the best dinner ever at The Oar House Bar and Grill! We started out with the calamari fries which were delicious. I thought I'd died and went to heaven when eating the Truffle Mac and Cheese but then we had a ribeye steak that melted in your mouth!! We tried a little of everything the clam chowder was the delicious and the steamed clams and the coconut prawns plus the fish!! Oh and don't forget the Salted Carmel fried ice cream. I can't wait to return!! The staff was exceptional!!"

"This was a dinner destined to be. We never would have had our anniversary dinner here if someone hadn’t have cancelled. We are SO glad they did! Melissa was an excellent hostess and our waitress Sam was outstanding! Crab Cake and Oysters on theHalf Shell were succulent and well portioned, the special Pappardelle with Manila Clams in Garlic Wine Broth were luscious andtender. The Lamb Chops with Grilled Polenta, Roasted Heirloom Tomato and Summer Vegetable Salsa Verde was delightful (ifslightly overcooked). Starting with a Champagne toast and finishing with a Pana Cotta with honeyed peaches and fresh redcurrants, we could not have had a better meal. Thank you all for helping to make our 14th/25th anniversary extra special! ????Bravo!"

"The service was good. And really delicious craft root beer. But there were few seafood options (I am not a fan of cod), so I asked if I could have a Lachsburger instead of a regular burger. After checking with the kitchen, the server placed the order for me. She didn't think to come back and tell me that I would not only charge the $20 for the burger (which I didn't offer the chance to take home) I would charge another $10 for the little piece of salmon on the bungalow. So I paid $30 for a delicious but not worth it Lachsburger. We're not back. I guess this place is very popular because of the location and proximity to the beach, or maybe it's the alcohol. In addition to the overpriced food, the parking situation is also a problem without clear signs or parking validation. The large parking lot on the right side of the restaurant costs $10 for daily use, so I would recommend skipping this. But the parking lot right in front of the restaurant is packed and has very small rooms. It's a challenging situation for someone who doesn't drive an economy car to fit into the room without risking you denying doors. Big part on my fries, but not on my husband who had the fish and chips. He liked his food and the bunch of pommes I added to him. decent experience to the end, but we were having a bad taste in our mouth when we saw the inflated review. Desserts are $11, ouch!"
