"I came back to Boerne Taco House, eager to give them a second chance! I heard multiple great reviews at work, all of which said the enchiladas are the thing to get. Unfortunately, I do not agree. I was very excited to try these red enchiladas, especially when I saw the red sauce described as a mole sauce. I am not the best judge of quality Mexican food, but this was no mole sauce. It did not have any spice to it, no hint of cinnamon or chocolate, and clearly lacks the color. As for the rest of the enchilada, it was filled with queso fresca. The inside was straight cheese. I have no criticism of this restaurant but it but doesn't deserve a 4.5 rating. It's hard for me to give that rating for tacos.

This place is on point. Prices are great and food has been always fresh when we have gone. Portions are great too more then filling. I think we have had almost everything on the menu and nothing has been bad even when their busy service was good and food came out warm and in a timely manner. Complementary chips and salsa aren't bad either.
