"At first the food was alright. One time I ordered a steak royal. My bread was suppose to be toasted and it was burnt and I didn’t like how the steak tasted. I said okay I won’t order that again. Next time I ordered a large pizza.. the bottom was basically black on almost my whole pizza. I wish I had took a pic of it. Today I ordered and asked them not to burn my pizza this time. The guy was nice on the phone when I told him that. The pizza wasn’t ready when I got there. I came back in waiting in front of the lady waiting for her to acknowledge me. She knew I was waiting for the pizza. So I guess she figured she would acknowledge me. She ask do you have the receipt number with a nasty attitu...

Service was great! Food was AMAZING! Not too many good spots around here but this is one of my favorites! Try the mega fries/turkey bacon. AWESOME! Pizza is excellent and the cheesesteaks were made to perfection! 5 stars all around!

Very busy food is good. Issue for me is their sidewalk is all torn up. I tripped, fell busted, my lip dripping blood. When I informed the restaurant, they didn't have the decency to reach out to see if I was okay. That makes me feel like they dont care about their customers.

Honestly.. It 's a favorite spot to come to whenever I come to Philly. Havent met a large Italian hoagie that compares to theirs. They hand you the sandwich, and it looks like a baby wrapped in a blanket.... I just wish the service was better. You walk in and can 't even get a greeting. Never fails whenever I 've walked in. ? But perhaps that 's the sacrifice I make for the bazooka of a sandwich.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
