"My son missed his school bus and had to walk here to wait for me because it was cold . The staff was rude to his because he's a black teen. I called his phone and asked to speak with one of the employees there and let them know this was my son and I was coming to pick him up I just wanted him to be warm. They refused to talk to me. Shame on the employees at canteen coffee."

canteen is a great little business and the owner liz is there every day and she always remembers her, even though they rarely go. great location, great business, large terrace sitting.

This place is honestly the best coffee shop in Uptown, and the owner is super friendly. They also have a window, and dog treats which is super awesome for stopping for coffee while I have the dog with me!
