"Loved the layout and atmosphere, but it was quickly ruined by the non-existent service and awful food. I was looking around for 10+ minutes to get another cocktail, the appetizer never came out, and my steak entree was 4/10 at best. The “grilled vegetables” were literally a pile of raw veggies and the ribeye was thinly cut. Felt bad leaving a 10% tip, but it was so bad. I also understand this is a sports bar type of place and they’re probably only good for wings and beer, but poor service and that bad of a food was disappointing. I’d go somewhere else to spend you money."

Carolina Ale House is always a great spot in Downtown. Rooftop bar area, great for sunny days. Live sports. Great bar and drinks area. Excellent food, which is reasonably priced. Love this place!

Great sports bar/restaurant to have lunch or dinner. I love the atmosphere and the open roof, you get sun, fresh air and a little view of main street. The menu has a good selection, they have meat and vegetarian options. Great drink menu and plenty of TVs to watch all the games near the large bar! I had the fish tacos and they were delicious! So good!!

Came for the first time a couple of weeks ago, the food and atmosphere was great, and the service was very good. So I went again on Sunday June 4th with my mom and my children, they loved sitting and looking outside the food was good and the service was great. However at one point there was a song playing I noticed the language and it was completely inappropriate the f word every other word and mother f word. I definitely want to come back but I think it's inappropriate to have a song like that playing with so much profanity in it.
