"We had a marvelous dinner. I had the Fejoada and my wife had the Bobo shrimp. Both were excellent! I had worked in Brasil in the 1970s and the food certainly rekindled my fondest memories. The service was just right-not too slow and certainly not rushed. A completely unanticipated benefit was that the owners came from a small town in the Amazon basin I which I was based and we shared many stories. Good reminiscence aside, we will most certainly return."

We loved chatting with the owner about his experience in Brazil, and the food seemed more authentic than the All you can eat Meat style of Brazilian restaurants. Everything was fresh and we loved the black bean stew, and other entrees the cheese bread was luscious!

The beef was the most tender and flavorful we have ever eaten....... It was a lovely treat to be welcomed with plantain chips rather than bread. The owner introduced himself to us personally. Told us the history of the food and his family which added personality and heart to our dining experience. Perfectly seasoned and a great place to enjoy a slow evening as Europeans do.

My two guests and myself all commented on thw way home that the food was only average at best. my mashed potatoes came out luke warm. I sent them back to be heated, which made them better but someone returned them without speaking one word. $9.00 house wine seemed a little too much for this level of restaurants. i didnt complain at the restaurant as I didnt want my guests to feel any embarrasement or guilt as to my treat to them.
