"I first visited casa romero when I first moved to boston, 1979, I enjoyed it very then when it was one of the two Mexican restaurant in the city, then I had a pleasant experience, so I wanted to try it with my daughter after all the years. what I found is that they have kept the same decoration as it was at that time, it was more crowded now, and that was what I expected the server was very nice and helpful, the noise level was on the higher side, but it was a warm and cozy place. I am sure that the people in the neighbourhood would welcome an elevated Mexican place close by."

Best food, good drinks, great Selena soundtrack playing in the background. Not too hard to find, but fun little entrance in a public alley.

delicious food and cozy atmosphere. our waiter was attentive and gave excellent recommendations. eating was fresh, hot and tasteful. recommend the ghost pfeffer tequila margarita!

seriously? the problem is not eating, it is the drinks. a $17 margarita, which was literally a glass full of ice with minimal drink, and practically no tequila. and contained two small sips! lol. not order the mixed drinks if tou come here. what a waste of money. the bartender should be rejected. I feel as if I had run away and we were over two decades very loyal diners in casa romero. I will not recommend.
