"This is a hard criticism to write because it is a lot based on a situation that many restaurants have: namely economical waiting. I usually appreciate my steakhouses on duty and in this case it was a little out of that time. Unnecessary waiting at the door (which does not wait for the numbers that wait as waiting staff sauntered from table to table, and busing table was literally made one-handed (we have all seen that these teenagers work that obviously do not want to be there. In addition to the service, the portion sizes were large and the ribbed eye had a beautiful viewer and was maybe 2 minutes about what I liked. The woman had a taco salad that she said tasted as if they smashed a hamburger patty to build it. It was pretty big for the cost. As I take the previous reviews, it seems like Trail Rider's either gets it really big time or is gone. Hopefully, they can get it all up and keep the little town."

"What a great meal, in a beautiful restaurant with generous and super friendly people. I can't even say how delicious our meal was. The food and the service was so good that my husband had to embrace the owner when we were gone. It's an hour drive for us, but we're back!!!"

"Customer service is top tier. Everyone is extremely kind and thoughtful. The food is the best I've had since I moved to TX from the east coast. I come here almost religiously at this point. They have the BEST sweet tea, nobody comes close. They work nonstop and deserve so much for their hard work. I always tip well after each visit. Love this place. Service: Dine in"
