"we have been here for years and loved it! we were therefore surprised on Tuesday evening (9/3/2019) when our favourite dishes were inconspicuous and not what they were in the past. the glazed noodle salad was disgusting and too hot, although at a heat ordered "1, which was always good before. the stirring frit was sweet and meat in a suppe of broth, not fried at all. a mild plate at 0 heat ordered was hotter than one, the spicy (pepper shown) on the menu. We also waited over an hour on our menu. we have loved this place for years and come here regularly to birthdays etc. we are sad to say goodbye, but will not repeat this bad experience. we called Chabaar...read more"

Love Love Love. Don't let the odd appearance fool you the food is so fresh and so tastey. I usually default to Pad Thai when I eat Thai but I made it a point to try something new. Wife and I split the Drunken Noodle and the Kow Sou and they were awesome! Great tastes, very simple, vey fresh and a ton of food. I was totally happy with the amount of food I got for the price! Great spot! Can't wait to go back.

I am a regular here, always fresh and I have never tried anything that I did not like. I have tried almost every curry, pumpkin curry is my favorite! Absolutely love the egg plant stir fry and the beef pho is awesome! I love real hot-n-spicy food and boy can they get the heat going...I usually go for #2-#3 on the heat scale, I have gone as high as a #5 but I wouldn't recommend going that high unless you really like it really hot..My wife and I have taken most of our friends and family there and they all have great things to say as well. P.S. The breakfast is also fabulous.

I rarely leave evaluations (not my time worth) but that was so terrible I feel a bit forced to do this. food banana pancakes for our 4 years old- the pancakes were like gum, so much that they were not absorbed and not cut. safety tip- if they decide to saute their banans to the point to mush it should be cool down before serving to a 4 year old. it was like hot lava and literally burned my tonge (I tried it first before I let him eat it) -vegan omelet (wife): it was like snot mixed with something nice (here exactly zitat on the table.) she would have sent it back, would have read more.

"We must have done something wrong here as Del Barrio has so many high star reviews but that was not our experience. 1st, very different experience based on where you sit. We were a party of 2 during a busy time. We were put at a 2 top a few inches away from other 2 person tables. We could hear EVERY word the tables next to us said and I'm sure everything we said was heard by them. 2nd, the menu/value. This is my own fault but I still hold them accountable for the inconsistency. Waiter asked if we wanted chips and salsa, which is included, we said yes, he then asked if we wanted cheese (queso dip) with those. Chips were still free but queso was $12. I also added chili verde to my birria burrito which cost an additional $4.50. I asked for melted cheese and that was left out. Both of us ordered burritos and for the base price the portions are fair but careful adding anything to it. 3rd, food quality. The chips and queso was really good, but still not anywhere close to $12+ good. But the burritos were mostly refried beans that were extremely bland. We're talking sub Taco Bell quality beans. Picture showed maybe 20% beans in the burritos, additionally beans were listed as the 3rd/4th ingredient in the burritos but both of our burritos were 80% bean and very little meat. Imagine the beans from 2 Taco Bell bean and cheese burritos, with out the onions and red sauce, packed into a larger tortilla with a little bit of beef sprinkled in and that was the burritos we got. So after getting a bill for $50 (only 1 soda ordered) and below Taco Bell quality, I felt it was my moral imperative to warn others. I'm not saying don't go here, as I'm sure they have some good food there or there wouldn't be so many great reviews but we sure didn't find anything worth more than $5."
