"One of my favorites in the area. This place was a favorite since I began to come the White Mountains of Phoenix from 1982. Food and service are always pleasant, but usually I just like the rustic, western atmosphere. A beautiful change from the urban Orange County and Scottsdale places. Parking can be a little crazy, but you'll find out."

I didn't like anything except the steaks that our server was terrible, but we got some people big service. If you want Steak's great place, there are other better places. No good

He started with a well roasted Bloomin Onion. Then the best hamburger ever had. The meat was light and tasteful, not dense and bland. The French fries were well seasoned. Ready with homemade Cherry Cobbler ala mode. The crust was light and flakey. I can't wait to go back.

Charlie Clark was okay. If you like Steak, it's the place to go. Otherwise everything was not my favorite. The Fukinus alfredo I didn't want at all. It was too oily. Our server was super slow, we had to wait 20 minutes for our appetizers, and 45 minutes until we got our dinner. But the steak was great.

"This is the first place in the White Mountains that lived until the Hype. We had to get out (child:eyeroll:: but the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a small but good choice of alcohol. The decor was simple and funny. The food was fast and delicious! We had two burgers that were juicy and tasteful, but a little over boiled. We asked for Medium Rare. The garlic fries are so good and the fire fries are embarrassing."

"ABSOLUTELY delicious! My favorite Mexican restaurant in the white mountains. Very authentic, huge portions for the price and a beautiful atmosphere. Everything is quite expensive and they also have daily specialties. Good service, but worth the ride from Taylor/Snowflake to pinetop/lakeside. Very recommended! We ordered the fajita burrito and the pollo asado that was special."

"This restaurant receives a mixed review from me. After living in the area for six years, my husband and I finally decided to try the chalet. The ambiance was pleasant, although we chose to eat in the bar, which was well-organized. My husband opted for the early bird menu and ordered salmon. While the ingredients were fresh, the dish was quite bland, and the portion of salmon was very small. I decided to go with the menu from Sharkys Sushi Bar, choosing Sashimi along with a California Roll and a Boston Roll. It was absolutely fantastic! The portions were generous, and everything was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The service was excellent, though my husband received his meal well before I did, despite my order being something that shouldn’t take long to prepare. I will definitely return for the delicious and fresh sushi, but I’m unlikely to try the restaurant dishes again, especially considering the prices, which are among the highest on the mountain."
