"Food was good, server brought my nachos appetizer out 30 seconds before my steak. So now I get to choose which one I want to eat cold. He knows I got nachos, with jalapeños, and doesn't refill my drink which has.2 oz of soda in it when he drops them off. With 2 chips left I get the refill…wrong drink."

Didnt eat there. Twenty to thirty minute wait because of staffing. If they could of easily got us drinks we would of waited. Sad…

"I had heard the place had delicious food, so we made the special trip to go there. For me, the food was just ok. I had lasagna and it was delicious, just no much meat. After paying $13, I thought I would walk away fulfilled without feeling hungry still. The portion was just about 25% less than I needed to feel like the meal was a good deal and worth it."

"The service was friendly and fast. The menu is huge with many vegetarian options. My food was made to order. I was in 11 minutes and out. I did not try them enough or enough items from their big menu to really comment on how good the food is compared with other places, but it was decent and not bad. I only have two small negatives: The Lo Mein was in the boxes where baked rice usually comes (can they have run out of other containers), so that everything went out (also over the entire menu they were included in the bag, making it inevitable). The other was that my mother did not find the Szechuan Lo Mein at all to be sharp. She didn't think it was bad, but she thought the spiciness needed a push. Edit: Szechuan Lo My is very sharp. They wrote Szechuan on the shrimps, so my mother ate the regular shrimps who think that is not sharp. The two were mixed and marked incorrectly. The veggie was right. My brother ate the one he thought, the normal shrimp, and he was sweating. Full lunch, I'm not knocking her for it."

"Locals eat here. I like to eat lunch here when I come to Sulphur. Nothing Beautiful, simply good authentic food and fast service. I like to go to local, non-chain places whenever possible to taste the local flavors. Definitely recommend. During this visit I had Angel Oysters and Seafood Gumbo."

"Ate the regular buffet, not the seafood one. Although there was some seafood on the regular buffet. For instance, there was some sort of fried fish that I could not identify by taste. So I asked my waitress, and she said it was swai fish . I had never heard of swai before, so I looked it up. Swai is imported from Vietnamese fish farms and tastes a lot like mud cat (a trash fish frequently caught in a dirty ditch or muddy creek). Anyway, I can now say I tried swai and that it did not leave me with any ill effects that I know of. Nevertheless, I will never knowingly eat swai again. The waitstaff were all very friendly, the beer cold, and all in all, the regular buffet was alright especially the beef tips and rice."

"We stopped at a hotel west of Lake Charles on the way to Austin. We drove around looking for a restaurant in Sulfur. We found Hollier's open and ate there. It is a casual comfort local restaurant. There is a food buffet that had chicken, etouffee andsome other stuff. We decided against the buffet and ordered from the menu. The dinner salads were small, simple, and thelettuce was clean. I had a bowl of chicken sausage gumbo that was good and full of protein. The lady had seafood gumbo that wasspicier but didn't have much content besides the broth. Each gumbo came with rice and potato salad. She also ordered a bakedpotato that was fresh. The son and I ordered shrimp po'boys and fries. We should have split one as they are Yuge. They weregood. The fries seemed seasoned and were okay. Simple place. Basic food. Good enough. The service was very good."
