"Mixed bag. Some hits and a few misses. Don’t get stuck eating in the parking lot blacktop on a picnic table, I didn’t see many smiles there…If you have modest expectations you will be fine . You have to overlook over-spiced or too sweet and be happy you got in in on a weekend. If you are too picky, go to Nick and Tony’s or The Grill. if you can get in!"

"We were in low season, in March. We were treated like royal. The staff is super professional and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this, but note that it is expensive, so not be surprised by the costs. Just enjoy"

"Our server Lucy was an absolute delight. The tofu bowl was delicious and Erik at the bar makes some killer mocktails if you're not in the mood to drink. Always an amazing dining experience at Cove Hollow Tavern."

"As always, wonderful food and service overall. Their papaya and crabmeat salad was unique and flavorful. Their pork buns are out of this world. We could have eaten a whole tray of them. The salmon with shredded brussels sprouts and butternut squash puree was cooked perfectly and the flavors went extremely well together. We will be back again soon!!"

"Meh. Maybe my expectations for this restaurant were a little too high, as I was a little disappointed in both my meal and the fact that they only use disposable cups utensils. For the high prices, I didn't expect the fast casual atmosphere and food quality. I was really disturbed about how many disposable cups/utensils were used at this very busy restaurant. It's so bad for our environment! The food was hit or miss for me. Although I didn't think my entree was amazing, I really enjoyed the shared appetizers. Shared Appetizers: Steamers $29): these were perfection. They came with clam broth and butter on the side for dipping. Delicious! I wish I ordered this as my main entree. Recommended! Mussels in Red Sauce $16.95): these were also delicious. We ate them ALL! Fried Calamari $16.95): pretty standard. Good but nothing special. Buffalo Chix Wings $13.95): very good. Came with a great blue cheese dipping sauce. My entree: Fluke Milanese $30.95): I found this dish kind of...boring. it was a very dry fried fluke in a panko crust which had absolutely no seasoning. Bland and boring, but it came with a good arugula salad on top. I can't speak about other's entrees but everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. My 9 yr old niece gave two thumbs up for her salmon teriyaki. Service and hospitality were friendly and efficient. This restaurant is very busy and does NOT accept reservations. Plenty of free parking available."
