"I was in Minnesota for a family thing . Being a lakegirl now living in Texas, I was able to meet up with a friend or two while here and found myself at The Northern for breakfast. We were seated immediately and our server was on hand quickly to get that morning coffee rolling in at our table. Good coffee at that. Good coffee on a snowy morning always starts my breakfast experience out on a very high note! My dear friend from high-school class of '79! and I both elected for breakfast boats deconstruct ed which means we didn 't want our items stacked. I am sure its perfect as made, but I am one of those picky eaters that doesn 't even want my toast touching my eggs. Sorry! Just my preference! Our server and the kitchen was completely on board with that request and a short time later, my boat less the boat arrived piping hot to our table. Eggs were good. Hashbrowns crispy that 's how I like them! and I opted for rye toast which was amazing. I didn 't get a picture of the food because we dug in so quickly, before I thought about pictures, my plate was clean less a few crumbs . Oops! I tend to get forgetful like that. I noticed when leaving they have an assortment of t-shirts and apparel. I wanted a zip up hoodie but didn 't see one so I didn 't grab my souvenir from there. I would definitely return if and when I am in the area again. Their main menu has a ton of options... appetizers, burgers, salads... something for everyone really. Oh! They have a patio was not patio weather that morning and you may even have a close encounter with BigFoot ; We did! Families to friends. Stop in and get out of the snow or rain or heat or mosquitoes , sit down and have yourself a nice meal with good friendly Minnesota food, folks and hospitality."

"Excellent! The restaurant is recently renovated and it is a very cute vintage rustic design. Staff were fun, welcoming and very helpful in selecting our food items and adjusting our meals. We started with the French onion soup, which was so delicious and full of fresh mozzarella that it was sworn before I could get a picture. Then we moved on to the Brussel shoots that were in Alfredo sauce and were pretty good. And finally, we had the Walleye fruit, which had the best French fries I've ever had, and probably the best broken fish I've ever had. The frits were cut in a way that cooked them perfectly on all sides and delivered the most sensational crispy outside, soft in which I have ever experienced; I've never had pommes like them before and I'll remember them forever. The beer batter on the fish was thinner and more crisp than most, and it really makes the delicious Walleye taste shine. HIGHLY recommend the French onion soup as well as the fish and chips."

"Overall, I was really lucky with this place. I would give them 5 stars, but there were many times that I came home to find no Arbys sauce. Sometimes I ask for it Sometimes I forget and they didn't ask. Food is usually hot/hot sometimes hot from the grill. Over a good place to eat. 99% of the time has good customer service. Final comments always check for sauce or remember the window."

"Said us on a coveted event! We ordered snacks for wedding late evening and they were not shows. I had conversations with the store owner and the e-mail chains dropped off, so I called the store directly 2 days before my event to confirm the details. I was told by the person who works that they had my order information and the food would come without a deposit. I tried to support a local business that seemed to be well valued, and they ruined a big event."
