"I live in the area and there are not many vegan options available, so I was happy to discover this Bagel shop that offers Tofu cream cheese. Despite a previous reviewer stating that it is clearly marked, I did not find this to be the case as only regular cream cheese was displayed. I have tried the Tofu cream cheese here three times - plain, veggie, and scallion. I live in the area and there are no vegan options nearby. I decided to check out this bagel shop to see if they had Tofu cream cheese, as mentioned in a previous review. However, I couldn't find it on display, only the regular cream cheese. I tried the Tofu cream cheese three times - plain, veggie, and scallion. It tasted different to me, but when I questioned the staff about it due to my allergy concerns, they assured me it was indeed tofu. "The gigantic guava donut topped with cream cheese is simply amazing. I'd like to go back to try some of their other unique donut flavors (such as hibiscus and dulce de leche). We also ate empanadas: one with egg and cheese, and the other with guava and cheese. The latte was on point too. Unfortunately, they don't use any real plates, cups, or cutlery, so everything is packed in cardboard boxes, even if you're eating in. Despite it all being biodegradable, it would still be better for the environment (and customers eating in) to use real cutlery, plates, cups, etc. Overall though, a cheery, bright café to enjoy your vegan breakfast. "Incredible little place for a quick, healthy, perfectly filling meal. It seems like a weird location but it's easy to get to. I had the tofu bento box, which comes with two sides, and two onigiri. For the onigiri I had an original and an ume one. They were incredible. Sometimes onigiri can be dry, or you don't get some of the filling in each bite but these were perfect. The rice wasn't dry at all but was properly sticky and almost creamy. Also the ume wasn't just a pickled plum, it was a great tart paste. For a drink I got the yuzu koshi. It tasted like a very light yuzu soda; not too sweet, and not too carbonated. It was really refreshing and delicious so make sure to try it! Will definitely be returning here."

"You can’t go wrong with Ethiopian food, but this place took it to the next level. Got the Mercato platter, which they said was complex and savory and for the more daring palette. It was just what I wanted. The Days In The East mocktail was delicious and creamy. #Veganuary"
