"Some of the most friendly and efficient wait staff and servers you can meet. Herkimer residents visiting this scenic diner can be very happy to call them friends outside and inside of Crazy Otto 's! The food is always good, homemade meals on a trip along the NYS Thruway is worth the branch from the Interstate 90. Don't miss her soup Special of the Day. Regardless of what it is, it is served piping hot and will be delicious. Never a bad dinner here. Broken fish to Cajun chicken to signature burgers, they are all good. Sweet potatories are another side trip worth taking! Save space for Dessert..."

Good service, good dinner, cool atmosphere!!! Lately three times on vacation. Only real problem was cold chicken, but waiter took care of it quickly and friendly. I would definitely recommend a stop at this fun local diner!

What fun it is to eat here, and we even got to sing Happy Birthday to someone. If it's a relaxing nostalgic atmosphere you like, this is the place to go. The owner, Scott is a rip, the employees are friendly, and the service is fast and delicious.

We found this Dinner on a “ Hey SIRI” search for breakfast. I looked it up and it looked unique. I love unique! So we had to try it. The people were very friendly and inviting and the menus was crazy huge! From gluten options for my wife to a flat out delicious burger (yes for breakfast) we were impressed with the taste. I was so very happy we were able to eat here. The owners even came outside to look at our race trucks! We were honored to have meet them and eaten here.

"Passing thru traveling for work with my foreman. Walk in and i smell a strong smell of curry. A gentleman from the place, later to be told he is the owner, walks up and says “seating for two?” “Yes,” and we start following him. He states, “oh you need to wait to be seated.” “I thought you were going to seat us,” i replied and then my foreman asked if we can just sit and eat at the bar. He said yes. Bartender is not a sharp minded lady, she was very polite and kind which was great. We had a few beers, we ate dinner, the food was very good! For my 3rd beer the bartender popped open a different brand, i corrected her, she looks and sees only 1 left of what i was drinking and says they are all out. Not a problem. A few minutes later the gentleman who didnt try to seat us from earlier appeared with a case of the beer i was enjoying. The couple sitting next to us stated he is the owner Rocky, and the bartender is his wife. I saw earlier there was a Rocky’s pasta, so i asked the bartender what kind of pasta was that. There was no description, she could not tell me for her life what kind of pasta and with what was served with it. Whatever not a problem, was only being curious. She asks outloud to Rocky and he states it is a linguine. I acknowledge that i like linguine is should have had that. I then hear him muttering, “f*ck you for confusing my wife you f*cking….” I did not hear the rest. Sure caught my attention, and clearly felt aimed at me. I ignored it, finished the beer i had. A minute later Rocky sits in the end seat of the bar about 10 feet away from me and i hear more muttered cursing. I clearly asked, “did i do something to have upset you.” He gets up and walks back into the kitchen. I was dumbfounded at this point, and also felt quite bothered by the owner. I informed my foreman of this and the couple bear us, stated he didnt hear me. They also kept insisting it was aimed for the kitchen. I am absolutely certain it was aimed at me. All because i asked what the Rocky pasta was, and his own wife who has worked there for years didn’t know. Left her a great tip, will never return. I now hope this place fails and someone else takes over and runs a smoother and more successful restaurant in it’s place.Ps, f*ck you too Rocky."
