"I lived in the Czech Republic for 2 years and enjoyed the food everyday. This food is as authentic as it gets!! The cook starts cooking everyday at 7 am and cooks all day. All of the food is amazing!!! The service was wonderful Pavlina, and the cook were so kind to speak czech with me and make it an amazing experience. Your entre comes with soup and dessert and you get a ton of food. The svickova is a very traditional czech food and it is super good! Didn't have the cranberries and orange slice on it but the dumplings were so good and the gravy and meat were perfect!! My wife got the segedinsky goulash and it was spectacular as well. If you want sute tic czech food this is the place to go!...

If you like authentic Czech food, it doesn't get any better. So good, new owners have the food tasting like it did over 30 years ago. Delicious.

I was so happy to discover that they had opened again under new management. The food was excellent. I ordered the koprova with bread dumplings and sauerkraut. The dinner and sides were all delicious. The prices are super reasonable considering the amount of food you get.

Friendly family run restaurant! The food was pretty good but I've had better in Chicago. Liver dumpling soup and goulash were both very good. Their entree is pretty big that comes with 2 sides, soup, and dessert. Plan on sharing or being a container to take leftover home.

"We went here for my friend's birthday and it was my first time coming to this place. When we were seated, our waiter came to ask us for any drinks to get us started and we told him we wanted to do wine tasting. He told us to hold on a second and walked off. He went to talk to a coworker and came back 5 minutes later. Then he took our wine choices. Proceeding the night, he wasn't too attentive of us and when he took our entree order, we had to repeat it three times because 2 of those times he was looking at other waiters and customers. So after the third time, he finally got our order right and went to put it in. Keep in mind it was only 2 of us and we ordered very simple entrees. When we were done he asked for any desserts and I told him we were celebrating a birthday and if the restaurant did anything for birthdays. He looked at my friend (birthday girl) and said no. That I had to buy a dessert and the restaurant doesn't offer it. I was honestly shocked on the way he said it and his only solution was for it to be bought. I've worked at restaurants before and instead of saying no, we usually just got a manager and the manager would decide to approve something or not. He didn't even offer to talk to a manager. So then I just asked for the check. Another server came by and asked if we were okay and I asked him about birthday desserts. This nice, young man said that the restaurant DID do birthday desserts and that he would work something out. He came back very quickly with a birthday dish and was very nice and attentive of us afterwards. Definitely made the night more better for us than our original waiter."
