"I visited this restaurant during the busy lunch rush before heading to surgery. There was a 25-minute wait for food, which was going to make it difficult for me to eat anything within the 15-minute window before my surgery. However, the manager on duty was understanding and promptly provided me with soup broth so that I could eat before the cut-off time. I was truly grateful for his kindness and willingness to assist me during a stressful time. Thank you."

"Not sure how Durant 's gets to be rated best of Phoenix so many years in a row. From entering the restaurant through the kitchen which creates a breeding ground for bacteria to the old school dreary, dated dining room....not a palatable and welcoming environment. Then the sticker shock of the menu. $15-18 for iceberg lettuce salads? $80 for 12 oz filet. This is mainstay Phoenix, not New York City. Waiter was ok. Food was under seasoned.When we said we couldn 't have any of the potato choices as an included side, we asked for a vegetable. We were charged extra. End of the meal we weren 't asked if we wanted coffee. Won 't return. So many better choices in the area."

"The following night, we tried two other restaurants but were not given good service at either place, even though they were not busy. We ended up back at The Arrogant Butcher because we knew we would receive top-notch service. Graham, our server this time, recommended the spinach and artichoke dip (as Stephanie had) and we also tried the burrata radiatore and BBQ short ribs. The food was once again fantastic, and the service was exceptional. If you find yourself in Phoenix, be sure to stop by The Arrogant Butcher for an unforgettable dining experience."

"If you are looking for vegetarian comfort food, then Pita Jungle is the right place. With its extensive menu there are several veggie meals and page options. It is also one of the few places in Phoenix that sells a Veggie burger with Portobello fungal cap in contrast to an eagerly processed soy or cornpatty. No complaints about the ratio of quantity to costs. Fill me up. Desserts are good. But the food is oily."
