"Excellent food. There was one taco we ordered that looked like it was from Taco Time though, so avoid the Mad Gringo, it's just not worth it. Maybe a 99c, but certainly not $9! Other tacos and apps were great. Chips have their own fryer, no cross-contam there! Street corn salad was unexpected hit. Drinks were awesome. So awesome they tried to charge us $12 for a sangria we never ordered. Had to go all the way back (10 minute walk) for a fix which then took another 10 minutes. Wasn't so much about the $12. Great tacos, nice service, great ambiance, thank you Katherine H. For your great service and friendliness. The place has a nice view of the creek outside sitting. Great place for tacos.

We asked three locals where to go for lunch and all three recommended El Segundo. It didn’t disappoint. This Mexican fusion restaurant had interesting and tasty tacos and I really enjoyed the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free, something they should advertise more.
