"OMG their coleslaw is out of this world! Their seafood is fresh and cooked just right! The ocean is right out front so its a perfect spot to stop, eat, and relax by the ocean. Their fans are loyal and keep them busy! I will return for sure!"

"Just wow. The first time in Maine and that was at the top of my list. Between the fantastic views, incomparable fresh food and amazing staff, I can tell you that this must be a must for everyone. The seafood chowder and lobster stone were better than I had somewhere, and when served with a complementary warm blueberry muffin, you really want only melt in your seat. I recommend coming there very early, as waiting can be long, but once sitting, the food is delivered fresh and fast to your table. Thanks Dolphin Marina for a wonderful trip to capture this beautiful state!"

"We enjoy this place. It has a marvelous view of the famous Cribworks bridge between Bailey and Orrs Islands. The staff was easy to work with and responded to our requests as quickly as possible. Due to staffing shortages in this summer of 2022, there is a fairly long wait to be seated and the number of empty tables which can?t be served is substantial. The food was quite good and we enjoyed our meals and especially the view!"

"This was our first day at Bailey Island and was looking for a place just a few minutes' walk from our Driftwood Inn accommodations. We chose The Giant Stairs Seafood Grille based on previous reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was Maine all the way and the waiter was friendly and satisfied all our wishes, including wonderfully warm dinner rolls, which are not part of the general menu we ordered. My wife had the Lobster Roll, which was filled with the equivalent of a lobster with frits for under $15.00. I had the crab cakes with Pommes and Coleslaw. Excellent food all the way. For Dessert Blueberry Pie, filled with sweet juicy berries, and a crisp flocky crust. It was obvious that the homemade cake was made with lemon juice and a hint of cinnamon. This will be our way to the restaurant again this trip."
