"This weekend I’m moving out of Fairfield, and I say with confidence that I will miss Firehouse Deli the most (and will visit as frequently as reasonably possible). Great food, kind and friendly people, excellent, fast service (even in strange times of Covid), and pickles... I hear the salads are amazing too (says my mother-in-law). Had a really good pastrami Reuben yesterday. Pretty lean but tons of flavor. Slightly expensive for the size but I could just be getting old

I got the Harlem Shuffle. Overall a very good sandwich, I just wish there was a bit more chipotle mayo. The avocado is not necessary, but I nice touch to get the college kids to pay a little more. Will definitely go back and order a chicken sandwich next time.
