Floyds Mont Belvieu Seafood, Steaks, And More

Floyd's is an excellent place to go for lunch. The beer on tap was cold and the staff were extremely friendly. The restaurant itself was packed yet still really clean. I had the calamari appetizer followed by the Snow Crab legs. The Floyd's special sauce used for the calamari was ok, but I would have preferred marinara; other than that they were well made and delicious. The Snow Crab was also very well made. The seasoning used is very, very spicy and lives up to the Cajun expectations. The atmosphere was friendly and fun. I didn't find the prices too high considering the quality of the food given. I highly recommend Floyd's for a great lunch. A+ service!!

We are always excited to be able to try new places that don't use latex gloves in the prep and serving of the food. The atmosphere was rejuvenating after a long 4 hour drive we had into the area. And the environment was very clean. The staff was friendly and our server anticipated our needs. The menu is daunting as they have many things to choose from. But you should be able to find something for everyone- chicken, beef, multiple types of fish, shrimp, alligator, crawfish, frog legs, etc. I always enjoy a stiff drink, and they indeed can serve up a strong one. The draw back was the price. Most plates were priced the same. Perhaps during the weekday you can take advantage of the lunch special...

3 1/2 stars feel more like it. My review is similar to others. First time at Floyd's. Service was good (with the exception of running out of beer waiting for someone from the bar to bring it) We ate around 6pm on Sat. Night. The place was packed, we were told 40min wait (family of 4) but only waited about 20mins. Food came quickly but was somewhat lacking. The flavor just wasn't all there for the price. We had the steak (3) shrimp plate which was decent but should have a few more shrimp, and the red fish topped w/Ponchatrain sauce.
