"I thoroughly enjoyed our meal here! It wasn’t the crazy, knock my socks off, oh my god I need to return every day for the next week feeling that I usually have for places I give 5 stars to, but it was solidly solid.The atmosphere and service were 5.The pao de paneer would be a skip- it was good but not substantially different from the Brazilian cheese bread it’s based off of. The chutneys were good, but again, nothing I would order again.Our mains were delicious! I would call the things we had vaguely Indian- it’s not clearly Indian like some of the other contemporary Indian restaurants in the city. Both dishes were great though! I haven’t had anything like either of those dishes!The cake was delicious- moist and dense and wonderful.Overall, we are excited to return some time! I wanna try the poutine for sure and the ravioli!It was clear that whoever created this place put a lot of thought and love into it, and I hope it becomes a place we return to every year."

"The gigantic guava donut topped with cream cheese is simply amazing. I'd like to go back to try some of their other unique donut flavors (such as hibiscus and dulce de leche). We also ate empanadas: one with egg and cheese, and the other with guava and cheese. The latte was on point too. Unfortunately, they don't use any real plates, cups, or cutlery, so everything is packed in cardboard boxes, even if you're eating in. Despite it all being biodegradable, it would still be better for the environment (and customers eating in) to use real cutlery, plates, cups, etc. Overall though, a cheery, bright café to enjoy your vegan breakfast. "Incredible little place for a quick, healthy, perfectly filling meal. It seems like a weird location but it's easy to get to. I had the tofu bento box, which comes with two sides, and two onigiri. For the onigiri I had an original and an ume one. They were incredible. Sometimes onigiri can be dry, or you don't get some of the filling in each bite but these were perfect. The rice wasn't dry at all but was properly sticky and almost creamy. Also the ume wasn't just a pickled plum, it was a great tart paste. For a drink I got the yuzu koshi. It tasted like a very light yuzu soda; not too sweet, and not too carbonated. It was really refreshing and delicious so make sure to try it! Will definitely be returning here."

"You can’t go wrong with Ethiopian food, but this place took it to the next level. Got the Mercato platter, which they said was complex and savory and for the more daring palette. It was just what I wanted. The Days In The East mocktail was delicious and creamy. #Veganuary"
