"To start off my wife and I were joining her family for a birthday dinner. Some of us had never eaten there before because we prefer a different Mexican restaurant in town. Chips and salsa was the first thing we tried and that was good (salsa had a little spice to it). We then ordered a pitcher of lime margaritas. Needlessly to say that is where our dining experience started going sour. The margaritas tasted chemically or no tequila just not really sure. So our waitress saw that we were concerned and pulled out a straw and tasted the pitcher and agreed something was off about it. Never again! Margaritas taste like chemicals, food was cold because of over sized plates, and extremely salty. If you are looking for authentic Mexican, this is not it. I wouldn't do it again even if it were free. Oh and because we had said something to our waitress about the Margaritas, the owner stared at our table until we left. Classy...

Nice surprise to find a really good Mexican restaurant in the heart of Rolla. Food is very authentic with nice size portions for the money. I had the Carnitas plat that came with rice and refried beans along with a sliced avocado. My pork was roasted in the traditional style and presented with chunks rather than shredded. It was full of flavor with nice mixture of crispy and tender bits. My wife had the Taquitos which also came with rice and beans but with guacamole instead of an avocado. Our server was friendly and attentive and the overall experience was very nice. Definitely the best Mexican restaurant we?ve tried in Rolla.
