"I ate here in May 2017.First of all the building itself is probably the most picturesque thing in the entire town. Beautiful vintage facade with an interior similarly decorated.all the waitresses wear traditional German dresses and are very friendly.After I had managed to translate the menu and order some lovely bread was brought out to me in what looked like a chef's hat! Charming and delicious.I then had a lovely fresh salad with a nice dressing.For the main, I then I had a meat trio of pork, beef and chicken with Mediterranean veg and fried potatoes . The chicken and pork were delicious however the beef was overdone and tough.Overall the food was quite good and I would like to try some m...

Perfect place to have a nice meal. Great seasonal varieties of meals and home made lemonade. Also great to go in the afternoon and enjoy the great cakes they have. Inside it is really nice with all the wall paintings. Staff super friendly. Overall great atmosphere.

My husband and I stopped in Bad Sackingen on our way to Zurich. We decided to eat here based on the reviews. We asked if we could eat outside & we were told we could. We waited and waited and waited for a server but no one showed up. The servers were taking care of the tables around us but not us. We were nicely dressed and we had showered that day. We don't know why they wouldn't wait on us. Was it because we only spoke English? No idea! I don't recommend this discriminating restaurant to anyone. We finally just got up & left & had a wonderful lunch at another restaurant.
