"I went here with a friend. I had a Western European perception of Eastern European food that did not do it justice; it is much more than just boiled cabbage! (Apologies). The atmosphere is lively and the decor is of an Eastern European style of...the is my guess. It has a busy feel, but there is adequate space between the tables and it did not feel cramped. The main courses were great (mixed dumplings and stroganoff), preceded with a good fruit tea. Rounded off with a great desert of blini with cherries and vodka it made for a great meal. This came to around for two. It is somewhere that I would definitely visit again and recommend others to go to."

the breakfast here was the boris paternak. a full quality dish with a beautiful mix of a solid breakfast and very sophisticated taste. both savory and sweet and combined to a beautiful palette. many vegan and vegetarian options.

Great place for breakfast, short tram ride from Friedrichstraße, where are hotel was. Interesting and unusual elements, I went for scrambled eggs and Russian sausage mix. Great coffee. Great atmosphere and decoration sets the place apart. Good value as well.

I sought shelter from the rain in Gorki Park and am glad for this quirky, hip and good find. I ordered the beef dumplings and it was very very very good! The dumplings were juicy, perfectly spiced and even the texture of the dumpling skin...was chewy and soft at the same time. By the looks of the dishes and expressions of the other customers.... I think all their food is very good! I would have given it a star if the wait staff hadn’t rounded up the bill and assumed a tip of Euro which was something I would have rather chosen to do instead of it being forced on me.
