"I worked here in the late 1990s and ate there after all these years. Although property has changed hands, food, service and attitude is not better. You'll do more than you can eat. Your signature Ribeye is excellent and the roasted chicken is fantastic. You really can't go wrong. The surroundings are picturesque and relaxing. This is really a treasure of Owen County and a highlight of Spencer!"

The food was fantastic. You order your main dish like fried chicken, fried fish, prime rib, and much more then you get all you can eat sides like bread (outstanding), mashed potatoes with chicken gravy, green beans with bacon, corn, and salad. The service was good too. It's very clean and the ambience is really nice. I'll go back for sure.

Delicious roasted chicken. My standard for fried chicken in Indiana is offered by Nashville House in Nashville, In. That's just as good or better. The potatoes were also very good. Reserved corn and green beans. Not so good. We loved our waitress who was very friendly and efficient. I visited this restaurant several times. I wish the vegetables were better.
