"The portion size is laughable, as the fact this reminds me so much of a McDonald?s hamburger as well as the fries. I got the beach bum to and that also reminded me of a mchicken at McDonald?s. The waiter didn?t understand that we were telling him this place is expensive and kept trying to give us the menu and order more. This is very sad for me because I used to love this place. But spending over 20 dollars on a McDonald?s dinner is straight up NOT ACCEPTABLE. Would not go here again! The pickle is almost as big as the burger."

I heard all of these good reviews from this place and honestly it just doesn't live up to the hype. It's a unique take on lunch with its wrap around seating but it's lunch is very very mediocre at best.

Fun throwback hamburger counter joint. Must try homemade sweet/sour mustard and sweet pepper relish. Fresh baked pies and cakes worth the calories. Lady Baltimore is amazing chocolate/vanilla layer cake. They?ll even add a spritz of vanilla syrup to your coke.

Visit there several times years ago. I recall it as being a pleasant place that served decent food at a fair price. I have not been to LBI for the past few years until yesterday so I decided to check it out for dinner with my wife, daughter, and grandson. We all had a variety of hamburgers, which were very good; the French fries were a bit small and cold. However the desserts were very good. We had a very personable young man as a waiter; he was very attentive. I think he was a college student by the name of Cole.
