"You go to the House of Soul for real Southern fried chicken, collards, mac n’ cheese, Southern cornbread (without sugar , yams, lima beans, and various other sides on different days of the week. This is the real thing, and Mama Soul runs her ministry next door. (I had to ask to find that out. Don’t expect to be preached to. The fried chicken and the chicken n’ gravy, and the pork chops are excellent. The ribs are good but anyone can make good ribs. Plain cake is the best dessert."

Not everything was available, but the food they had was pretty good. The waitress was also very nice, the rest of the service was good. Definitely a good place to stop after I came back from Tahoe what I did.

Mostly good. My friend found out that one of her pork chops was a little boiled. They ran out of catfish and had no greens in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. There was a big handwritten sign on the door, which said Cash Only, Exact Change Only. I think they would have better planned as an established business. They should ensure that they have sufficient resources or the ability to use credit or debit, and they should have had enough food.
