"The quality-price ration is unbeatable in this lovely canteen-style restaurant. It has its unique atmosphere. The service is quick and the dishes are wonderfully tasty, satisfying and inexpensive. Good kimchi, great, soup with salmon shoulder, great Sushi menus, available with a discount most of the time. But all dishes are delicious! I have been in this specific Ishin (there are 4 or 5 different Ishin branches in Berlin) may be 50 times and it was always, always great!"

I love tamago (egg sushi and was so happy to get it here, in both maki and nigiri forms! I had a truly international experience, ordering in German in a Japanese restaurant next to French people! (I speak all those languages!

They have a very comprehensive menu, easy to find something you like, dishes are very reasonably priced and tasted good. We had order an Unagi Rice and a Teriyaki rice. The Unagi rice was very delicious, although the teriyaki one is not as good but still quite present. The size of the dish was quite big that we couldn't finish them.

Decent at best. It’s annoying community seating, which was awful as I wound sitting next to a family of five, with 2 small children and an infant. Their little girl sat next to me and kept leaning over with her hair landing on my chopsticks. It’s also not obvious that the giant covered tub in front of you is where to find the ginger.
