"At first I was impressed with the employees as they were completing a list of cleaning jobs. As I was eating my food I noticed that the girls were making 'blizzards ' and using their bare hands to put in the candy ingredients. Then one of the girls took a handful and put the candy in her mouth and ate it. When making dishes of ice cream for a customer the girl must have gotten some ice cream on her fingers because she licked her fingers and then put the spoons in and delivered them to the customer. I was very disappointed that someone at the hotel recommended this restaurant. With all the diseases going around I would have thought that these girls would have had some common sense. Where was...

Expect great food for expensive prices with horrible service. Got the kid 3 peice strip. had to eat taters with fry’s instead of silverware until I went n asked. Also didn’t offer any ranch or condiments. Great food terrible setvice

"I love Mineral City and eat every chance I get there. The food is almost always perfect and if a correction has to be made, they are on top. I have two suggestions... 1. Train your staff NOT touch the top half of a glass while serving. Your customers put their lips on the glass to drink (sometimes do not use straw). 2. I was there several times and used the toilet room. Wait the staff there a few times and every time their apron is on the floor in the stable. This is careless and should be added to your list 't do 's. Thank you for a great place to eat!"

"Good overall experience and first time getting soup and chocolate ice cream as well as a few other options compared to the Council Bluffs, IA location I frequent. One bummer tho was the constant vacuuming all around me. The thought of fine questionable particulates blasting nonstop from a noisy vacuum while you attempt a peaceful dinner pressures me to lower my rating, but I resist thanks to the quality of food. Yea I was towards closing time 2000 or so, but maybe close your doors sooner so you have time to vacuum if ya gotta molest us with a vacuum? Could you imagine a Thanksgiving or special dinner and someone vacuuming not too far from you while you're trying to carry on a pleasant conversation? Maybe your imagination works lol, but would you actually enjoy that experience? I hope to be back! Will edit someday!"

"A friend that grew up in Fort Dodge often talks about how good Tico Taco is, so I gave it a try. The restaurant is a bit dated but appeared to be clean and fairly well maintained. I apparently inconvenienced the lady taking my order by asking what all comes on a taco. After she answered I ordered two tacos without tomatoes. This was followed up by a gruffy anything else? . From her demeanor, I was expecting to see that I was holding up the line, but there was nobody behind me. The food was made quickly. I was a bit surprised that it was the same as or lower quality and taste of Taco Johns. I left questioning my friend 's memories of the place. And wondering why I didn 't just stop at the taco food truck parked in the Hobby Lobby parking lot."

"If you are a bit confused by the Tom Thumb sign on a Dairy Queen sign, don't let it stop visiting. You will not be disappointed by the great food, and oh yes, there's a bakery in the front. Our chicken and fish dinners were delicious, complemented by homemade rolls. More love is given to the food than the building, which shows a embarrassing lack of attention, but that does not have a steady stream of diners who know good food when they see it."
