"This was my 3rd visit to JUSTIN Downtown, and my first visit for dinner with the new “Steakhouse” menu. It did not disappoint. My filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare; which is a requirement of any quality steakhouse. Sides were delicious and shareable, and the wine selection is JUST PERFECT. If you haven’t been, JUSTIN Downtown is a sleek and modern tasting room. The back half of is turned into an intimate steakhouse after 5pm, which keeps its wine tasting vibes as the front portion is still lively. Service is great, which is something JUSTIN focuses on here and at the Vineyard. Wine tasting and restaurants are an experience, and rely heavily on its staff to make it enjoyable. Megan w...

Salmon was over cooked. Service was ok, not great. More importantly, greatly offensive to see water service out of multiple small plastic water bottles. Aware of the co-ownership of Fiji water, but really horrible to see such disregard for the planet.

We had attentive service and the food was good. Portion size was almost surprisingly large. They had good choices for non meat eaters but few choices for protein other than red meat. As long as you understand their focus is as a steak house, you won’t be disappointed.

A civilized place for a steak, with good service. But our food was patchy very good filet, but chewy sirloin and gristly ribs. Vegetable sides were mushy, not crisp. Limited choice of wines, although since they are Justin and Landmark they are very good. Don't come if you're not a beef buff (4 out of 5 mains were steak) or if you want a lively atmosphere (it's dead after 9 pm, while next door remains packed and hopping).

"I 've been to this restaurant three or four times, each visit when I was passing through the area. Some of the food here is pretty good, and it 's one of the few restaurants in the area that I know of where you can get anything vegetarian. I like that you can get tofu here and the food quality is generally good. It 's a nice location and a nice looking restaurant. HOWEVER, please note that many of the things labeled vegetarian are not truly vegetarian because they contain fish sauce. For example, on a recent visit (Sept 2011), we were informed that the tofu satay appetizer and the tom kah soup can 't be made without fish sauce, even through the menu says that both can be made vegetarian. We had already ordered these and only found out when we asked if the pad thai (which didn 't specify vegetarian on the menu) had fish sauce (it did). When we then said we didn 't want the soup and appetizer we ordered, the server acted inconvenienced and lectured us a bit... I think the encounter was more indicative of the individual than of the restaurant, so I won 't get into the details (we had great service on other visits), but the real moral of the story is: Always ask whether something has fish sauce here before you order it (if you are vegetarian and that sort of thing is important to you), even if it 's labeled vegetarian on the menu. Unfortunately, the truly vegetarian options here become much more limited in this process, but there are still several good choices."
