Extensive menu including one of my favorites, papaya salad. A 4 star restaurant if you get reservations, have a big party and order a lot of beer. Some decrease in service if not.

Very nice flavors, truly authentic. The food portions are not great, so make sure and order separate for everyone in the group. We had ordered chicken fried rice, red curry chicken and another chicken dish where diced chicken came on lettuce leaf. The spice level was moderate and everyone could eat without any issues. Also curry dishes came with hot/stemy white rice which was a good portion. BTW, they don't take credit cards. They also did not tell us that the beer we ordered was available only bottled. It was not chilled but when we asked they gave us a another one. The place does not have good ventilation. If you can not handle strong food/spice smell (fish sauce, lemon grass), would be to...

"my man and I were in a few for a family birthday party. we had some time for us and took public transportation to visit schloss nymphenburg, which was a wonderful excursion also on a windy, wintery afternoon. not quite ready to return to the house...we googled Italian restaurants near me. the one we visited first did not take any plastic. the second location was solo italia. it was a Friday night and the place jumped around 19 o'clock. we didn't even think we were making a reservation, and everyone was taken table. no problem, we could order the cash. it followed several hours of relaxation, delicious eating, weeping and atmosphere. we ordered the green salads that are large, fresh, and most welcome after days very little green on our tellers. pasta bolognese and spaghetti carbonara were excellent. we did not try out the pizzas, although they looked fantastic (and they produced, kept all waiting workers and our bar-tenders very busy to mante the many.) solo italia is a place that prices were much less than the fancier sites round, but the quality of the food was comparable. it was simply a funny, bouncing place. a scream from our barkeeper maurice d. he was very busy with the drinks orders, the semi-trailer pizza and in the regular good work. he still managed to be polite and attentive that we were sitting on his bar. very professional and personal. if they are on the look for a great Italian place outside the Munich city center (but easily reached by tram 25) try solo italia, they have a great time!"
