"we visited a cool evening and sat inside, where it was very dark. the other two customers in the restaurant stared at us one thing when entering as if they were in the old westbar through the swinging...doors service was fast and friendly. I ordered the omelette with spatula and Hollandais sauce that I found delicious. my travel partner ordered the sour roasts, which turned out to be a little taste and low in the countryside. an average experience."

"Wir als Einheimische waren nun nach knapp 15 Jahren auch endlich mal Essen im Restaurant. Ich muss sagen, dass ich sehr positiv überrascht war. Ich als Gastronom kann mit Recht behaupten, dass es eine gut bürgerliche Küche gibt und das Essen gut geschmeckt hat. Es ist alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preis Leistung ist Top. Wir kommen ab jetzt öfters. Vielen Dank, weiter so!"

"I had visited the restaurant again on 4.10. in the course of a classmate. It was a nice evening as we had also booked the use of the bowling alley. The service was also very attentive despite a birthday party. Unfortunately, my criticism goes back to dinner. A carving with pommes and mixed vegetables for about 16, € is already nice. Especially since the mixed vegetables were microshaft-heated slimy TK vegetables with only described buttergschmack. Similarly, the slightly dry carving did not have the size corresponding to the price. Well good at Pommes you can't do much wrong, only the portion was also economical. "We visited this restaurant through recommendation of a friend who lives nearby. As a visitor to the town we probably would not have visited this restaurant due to us Brits liking to feel comfortable in knowing where and what we are eating but we are so glad that we visited here. When we arrived to the restaurant we were greeted by a waitress in traditional German dress who spoke very little English but was extremely helpful in helping us to translate the menu. She brought over a special 'hello from the kitchen ' which was an appetiser of German sausage and salad, very nice indeed. When our food came we were very impressed with the high quality beef dish we received including potato dumplings which were unusual but delicious all the same. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting this town, a true German experience and amazing food and service. Thank you to the staff who made us feel very welcome!"
